We exchange information about our professional situation as dance artists with child / children and name existing deficits and barriers for dance makers in parenthood – in the dance scene and in the funding system..

We develop concrete proposals for improvement and invite guests to individual meetings, for example, from funding institutions and residencies and also jury members, in order to engage in dialogue about our work situation and create awareness of existing deficits. We connect with similar initiatives and individual artists from the field of dance and other art disciplines, nationwide and internationally.

From June to August 2022, we held four labs / network meetings in Berlin in the project Artist Labs / “Mit Kind: Tanzkünstlerinnen zwischen Beruf und Abstellgleis”, one of which was an international meeting online. The project was funded by Fonds Darstellende Künste e.V. within the framework of Artist Labs.
