We are the Ag Tanz und Elternschaft (Dance and Parenthood), an association and initiative of dance professionals in Berlin with the goal of improving the working conditions of dance professionals in parenthood.

Founded in the ZTB e.V., the Ag works self-organized and voluntary. We have been meeting online once a month since November 2020. In a joint exchange we name and analyze existing deficits, disadvantages and existing barriers for dance professionals in parenthood – in the dance scene and in the funding system – and develop concrete proposals for solutions and approaches on how these can be remedied. In individual meetings, we invite guests from the scene, from funding programs and residencies, from juries, etc. across disciplines to engage in sensitizing dialogue and begin to establish new networks.
